Volunteers Needed

Looking for something to do in February? Want to contribute to restoring riparian areas along the Rio Grande? There are two new volunteer opportunities to restore riverside ecosystems north of Las Cruces. Help us restore riverside ecosystems along the Rio Grande in Selden Canyon.

We need your help in planting willow and cottonwood poles at Broad Canyon Ranch and nearby private properties to restore riverside habitats in Selden Canyon.

Food, refreshments, tools and work gloves will be provided.
Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing and come prepared to work outdoors doing manual labor under variable winter weather conditions.
